What is a mission? 

A Mission is defined as a group or committee of persons sent to a foreign country to conduct negotiations, establish relations, provide scientific and technical assistance.

My question to you this year is what mission or assignment has God given you to to?  When you look at the assignment you may be saying to yourself that the mission is impossible.  And you are correct it is impossible in your own power and that is why you will need the power of God to complete the impossible mission.

One of my favorite stories in the Bible is found in Mark Chapter 10 V 21 

Jesus said one thing you lack....Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.  Then come, follow me.  At this the mans face fell.  He went away sad, because he had great wealth.  Jesus looked around and said to his disciples,  "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God"! The disciples were amazed at his words but Jesus said again,  "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."  The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, "Who then can be saved?'  Jesus looked at them and said, 

"With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God"

Whatever you may be facing this year remember that with God on your side the mission is not impossible so before you set out to do anything make sure God is with you and that is truly is a mission from him.
